Fred Thomas Saberhagen (innate 1930) is an American science fiction and fantasy fiction author most famous for his Berserker series of science fiction stories. He has too written the series of vampire novels in which a lamia (including a famed Dracula) are the protagonists, & a series of post-apocalyptic mytho-magical novels beginning using his popular Empire of the East & continuing across an extended series of Br& and Misplaced Swords novels.

He was natural within Chicago, Illinois. He at present sleep in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
